‘I'll go and work for you’ - Phenomen

Every month, I immerse myself for a whole day at one of our customers' sites, to better understand their challenges by doing their job with their teams. This time, I have the pleasure to spend one day at Phenomen offices.

‘I'll go and work for you’ - Episode 3

Imagine having to insure not only this concert, but also his tickets... That's what Phenomen does, among other things:

My feedback from my immersion at Phenomen, experts in cancellation insurance in Europe, through its Meetch, Leeloo and Phenomen brands. These immersions are invaluable for Seyna. Being out in the field with brokers, understanding their business, helps us to better support their development as insurers!

Thank you to the entire Phenomen team for their warm welcome, this day of immersion, and their transparency, and to Benoît DOMINIQUE.

One thing struck me straight away. The whole team has the DNA of an underwriter. It's impressive, and rare to see it at this level. The team thinks S/P, risk management.

And even better: this obsession does not come at the expense of their growth. On the contrary, it's a source of their success!

Behind the scenes, here are three points that piqued my curiosity:

1️⃣ The art of underwriting.

In the world of events, there's no room for standardised solutions. Each case is unique and requires a detailed analysis of the risks involved. The teams juggle a multitude of factors to come up with tailor-made solutions. It's an impressive balancing act.

2️⃣ Efficiency first and foremost.

A team on a human scale, but a formidable performer, managing impressive volumes. Our secret? A perfect blend of human expertise and technological tools. Phenomen is investing heavily in the automation of its operations, and it's paying off!

3️⃣ The culture of customer experience.

This culture permeates the entire company. From management to operational teams, everyone understands what's at stake for event organisers, distributors and insurers. This contributes to overall performance. A real lesson in corporate alignment.

In just a few years, this unique positioning has enabled Phenomen to make its mark in Europe, with major events, major distributors and networks, and even smaller structures.
