Our challenges

The health insurance market is under pressure. Subject to ever-increasing price pressure and government regulations, insurance brokers in this sector find themselves obliged to innovate in order to remain profitable.

This is the background to the partnership between SPVIE Assurances and Seyna. The partnership between SPVIE Assurances and Seyna was bound to work... because first and foremost, they share a common history: entrepreneurship, a common DNA: technology and a common vision: innovation.

For 12 months, the SPVIE Assurances and Seyna teams worked together on an overhaul of individual health insurance products, which were gradually unveiled over the summer.

With a view to launching the new range before the start of the new school year in September, the broker was looking for a partner capable of bringing health insurance products to market quickly, while offering effective risk placement solutions.

Our solution

One of SPVIE Assurances' objectives was to complement their current ranges with Non-Responsible business, and above all to offer their broker partners a complete range targeting all profiles.

In a market where technical balances are difficult to achieve, and where access to capacity is becoming increasingly limited for brokers, Seyna proposed to support SPVIE as a risk operator.

Seyna has co-constructed the four insurance products and is responsible for ensuring their profitability. Several risk carriers are involved in this project, but Seyna is the sole contact for SPVIE Assurances. This centralizes production data and enables Seyna's technology to rapidly iterate on program profitability.

In particular, this reinforces Seyna's role with brokers, that of “operator” in the construction and monitoring of insurance programs, whether or not Seyna is the risk carrier.

Results achieved

SPVIE Assurances has very strong ambitions in the individual health market. Over the past few months, our teams have been looking forward to the start of september with a revamped range of products that perfectly meets the needs of our broker partners and end-customers.
