Every month, I immerse myself for a whole day at one of our customers' sites, to better understand their challenges by doing their job with their teams.

I'm systematically inspired by their inventiveness and level of execution. The day always helps Seyna to innovate to better support them.

So I'm starting to share my lessons learned here - thanks to Garantme for playing along.

1️⃣ Handling claims is a tough job, and 100% hands-on.

Spending an afternoon dealing with claims reminded me of the emotional complexity of certain situations. It's real investigative work, dealing with stressed landlords and tenants in difficulty (or illegal). It means identifying fraud, managing the parties involved, and building solutions on a day-to-day basis. Claims managers are property experts, property lawyers, sales people and accountants - a real job.

👉🏻 The claims teams are the heart of the reactor. It's a tough, technical job that we must continue to promote! Congratulations to the whole team!

2️⃣ The value is not just in the tool, but above all in the workflow

Garantme doesn't spread itself too thin with lots of tools. They focus on a handful of robust tools that are perfectly integrated with their CRM. A high level of automation and collective rigour ensure an excellent level of execution. No loss of information. Teams focus only on high added-value tasks.

👉🏻 We need to automate and frame a process in which it is impossible to ask ‘What's the next step?’.

3️⃣ Creating a culture of excellence

Garantme has succeeded in building a team that is highly committed, professional and fully aware of the challenges facing them and their partners. The best teams are those whose members systematically pull each other up, and we feel that this is the case at Garantme.

👉🏻 To instil this kind of dynamic, management is key: highly structured and results-oriented. (Meeting deadlines, carrying out quality control, working on the message, etc.).
